Custom business applications

Custom business applications: a tool designed around the way you work.

Design and build an internal application fitted to your processes: a workflow designed with its users, connections to your existing tools, access rights and traceability. With AI where it adds value, without it otherwise.

This work fits your situation if…

  • A spreadsheet that has become critical

A shared file carries an entire process: case tracking, scheduling, internal requests. It is reaching its limits: competing versions, input errors, no access rights and no history.

  • Software that no longer fits

An off-the-shelf solution imposes its own way of working, costs a lot or limits your hosting and development options. You want to know what a tool fitted to your needs would change, and what would then have to be maintained.

  • Re-entering data across several tools

The same information is copied from one application to another. These steps need to be connected, giving everyone the view they need without multiplying interfaces.

What the engagement can deliver.

The scope and deliverables are agreed together during scoping.

Workflows designed with their users
Screens, states and wording built from real tasks, then validated on concrete cases with the people who will use the tool.
An application integrated with your environment
Exchanges with your existing tools through APIs, imports or exports, authentication and role-based permissions, and traceability of important operations.
AI used where it makes sense
When a step requires interpreting a text or a free-form request, a model can be built in with checks. Established rules are still handled deterministically.
Go-live and handover documentation
Acceptance testing on representative situations, go-live, technical documentation and onboarding, so the tool can keep evolving after delivery.

A clear sequence.

  1. Observe the process

Follow a task end to end with its users: information used, decisions made, exceptions, tools in place.

  2. Build a first scope

Develop the priority workflows, connect them to the data they need and test them on real or anonymized cases.

  3. Go live and evolve

Deploy, document, support onboarding, then prioritize changes based on observed use.

Case studies that show the work.

Before we start.

Does a custom application have to use AI?

No. Much of the benefit comes from a clear workflow, reliable data and connections between tools. AI is added when a step justifies it, with results that can be checked.

Can you start from an existing tool?

Yes. The work can start from a file, an application or software already in place. The first goal is to identify what needs to change and what can be kept.

Where is the application hosted?

Wherever your constraints require: in your own environment, on dedicated hosting or with an approved cloud provider. The choice depends on the data processed, the access required and your capacity to operate the system.

Who maintains the tool after delivery?

Documentation, onboarding and maintenance arrangements are planned from the scoping stage. They are set out in the engagement scope, whether your own teams take over or the work continues as part of ongoing support.
